Wikipedia isn’t neutral — it’s a powerful ideological weapon. I spoke with Ashley Rindsberg of NPOV about how leftist editors cite lies to smear opponents and shape the public narrative.
Some on the left have come to fully understand and leverage the potential impact on narrative control through inserting garbage data where AI and search tools source answers to user queries (garbage in, garbage out). It is insidious and is a prime example of how the left feels any means are justified by their ends.
I have used Wiki a lot over the years. Its bias was pretty obvious but it's hard to propagandize chemical reactions. I refuse to give them a cent and doubt I will miss them. These days I really just use it to get plots of movies before I decide whether to buy them or not.
I couldn't agree with you more, Andy. I am interested in the "Catholic Communist" Dorothy Day, cofounder of the Catholic Worker. Since 2011 her entry has been completely rewritten to remove any critical remarks or sources about her. She is a secular saint on wikipedia, as is usual for leftists' entries there. A corrective view is given in Carol Byrne's "The Catholic Worker Movement, 1933-1980: A Critical Analysis" and in the blog "Dorothy Day Another Way," dorothydayworker.blogspot.com.
Sorry to hear that. In hindsight it’s not surprising. During the Covid capers, many folks who questioned the wisdom of the shutdown policies and/or the safety of the Covid vaccine had their bibliographies drastically revised. Basically if someone expressed evidence or a viewpoint contrary to the progressive left’s narrative, they soon found any mention of their contributions and legitimacy stripped and replaced with Wiki’s favorite dire smear: “Far right”!!! Meaning of course, “Off with their heads!!!” So the once trusted people’s encyclopedia devolved into yet another of the left’s powerful means of disparaging & silencing those voices it doesn’t want heard.
I've known for years that Wikipedia was pushing falsehood instead of historical facts. Just in the topic of the Vietnam War alone, they just publish the version the Communists peddle, full of lies and blatant inventions. What is terrible is Wikipedia is one of the main source to AI. AI will vehicle historical falsehoods into the future and brainwash generations down the line. Ghastly...
People have been saying this for weeks, that Wikipedia has a covert editorial polity chopping and sweeping up entries for not conforming story to political narrative. It hasn't been a priority because I don't really need Wikipedia that much.
I guess Wikipedia is just hatching a clutch of their competition.
Wikipedia, NPR, New York Times, BBC, WNYC and the rest of PBS are all Left wing shills. I've heard of so many attempts to correct the bias on Wikipedia, only to have the factual information replaced again with the biased narrative. Thanks for being there, Andy Ngo! Keep in mind that there are many "non-political" violent crimes by trans identified males. Reduxx.org has many listed, and my channel documents the domestic violence of suddenly trans identifying husbands--with 74 women's testimonies the rate of sexual assault by these dudes is 39% and 38% for physical assaults. None prosecuted, even when police were notified.

You are exactly right! And thank you for bringing this up. Truth to lies is always good!
Self loathing virtue signaler. What is cis mobility?

And that is why I never use Wikipedia.
Great interview, well done. I have bookmarked and will share widely! Ashley is a terrific interviewer. So refreshing.
