Protect children first. Everything else comes second. I do not care what identity label someone uses, what activist banner they wave, or what slogans they post online. If an adult is accused of grooming minors, distributing child sexual abuse material, or using youth groups as access points, the system should come down like a hammer. No bail? For 11 felony child sex charges? That is insane. Parents are not bigots for asking who gets access to their kids. They are awake. This case is exactly why scrutiny matters. Trust is not automatic. It is earned—and where children are involved, verified.
I'm perfectly willing to believe that there are transexuals that are no threat to the community around them, but where are they? Can a cross-dresser even have the delusion that they are "harmless" when so many of the others like them are anything but? These people are dangerous because of their delusions. If they aren't constrained by biology, why should they be constrained by morality?
You might find this book review in The NY Times interesting. It's a biography of a famous transexual who didn't consider herself a transexual. Personally, I think one political party in particular saw a way to create a new tribe dependent on their largesse. Thus, progressives (and their friends in the media and academia) have become obsessed with gonads:

Oregon state police need to be trained by Andy Ngo on searching internet/social apps for potential child predators. Then, Oregon needs to create a monthly list of “bad groups” that local police departments can access. “Any age” is obviously a red flag. Key word search for “boy” is problematic because socially, word means “man” as in “Proud Boys”.
So exasperating that there's so many gross left-wing Judges willing to let these monsters go...no bail, nothing. Just poof 💨 & they're back out on the streets. No consequences, no accountability to anyone.
